Internet Access

Although many visitors come to Mariposa for the small town atmosphere or rural solitude, there are always some who can’t quite disconnect from the fast-paced life they left behind.

The good news is that even out here, high speed Internet access is available.

Free public broadband terminals are available, on a first come, first served basis, at the Mariposa County Library in Mariposa and at the branches in Yosemite Valley, El Portal, Wawona and Greeley Hill. For directions to these libraries and latest hours, please visit the Library’s web site. There are no connections for personal laptops in the libraries.

A number of eating and lodging accommodations in the town of Mariposa are wired for WiFi access. You can check the listings on this site or, if you are in town, look for the “WiFi Hotspot” signs these establishments display.
